This year a huge amount of effort has clearly gone into organising the summit. The level of participation and the number of companies showcasing their capabilities show that interest in the MRO sector is growing rapidly. From my perspective as a veteran of the armed forces, it is an excellent forum to discuss MRO-related issues. More importantly, such forums highlight the gap that still exists between defence and civil MRO ecosystems.

The conference and the Gala Awards Night were better than many international conferences that I have attended. My hearty compliments to Aerospace Media Group and the Editor-in-Chief, Mr. R.K. Patra, for his outstanding leadership. The conference was a very good platform for networking and interacting with leaders from the aviation industry, and I would recommend all airport operators to send their delegates to future conferences.
